Bioluminescent Cat

Sounds interesting huh. Well the reason I thought of this is from the other night. For those that don’t know what bioluminescences means click the word. Know I must watch waaaaaaay too much discovery and the science channels. So let me explain.

I got home real late from work last week like 9 O clock PM. It was dark in the house only a night light in the kitchen was on. So the dogs are going nuts happy I’m home, I walk into the dinning room head into the living room and then start to hear the meow, meow. Ok so as soon as I get into the living I punt someone just from normal walking. My cat is solid black!. The cat came running over and hit my foot as a start to come down to the floor with it. Well of course i jump back and thought oh shite the cat, because i didn’t here meow, meow now. I hear back and turn the dinning room lights on and there is the cat shaking his head licking his chops. Dazed but OK. So after checking the cat out it hit me.

Man if the cat would have only glowed when it was dark. I would have not kicked him from not. Not that the cool factor of that would be very interesting. Now I started thinking well they make the plant glow when they spliced the chemical from the firefly butt that glows. Wonder if that could be done to a cat. Only when the cat meows does he glow in the dark. lol. So if someone hasn’t thought of this yet Don’t steal my idea please even thought my big brain has no clue how this would even work. But man wouldn’t Halloween be more fun with glowing cats? Just give me credit and send me money for the idea.
